The Iowa Bahá’í History Project team is delighted to welcome a new member, Jo Dohoney from Marion, Iowa. Jo’s background is in sociology and academia and she brings to the table skills in researching, writing, editing, and interviewing, as well as lots of enthusiasm and initiative. We also appreciate the support of Scott Magers, who’s offered to lend his skills in all aspects of video production as we venture further into videorecorded interviews.

We are still in need of an additional team member to learn the technical nuts and bolts of our website and gradually take over the maintenance of the site. This is not a terribly demanding or time-consuming role, with the website up and running smoothly.

As always, we invite and encourage everyone interested in what we’re doing to register as a user on the site; to leave your comments on its pages; to submit your stories which are all part of the collective story of the history of the Faith in Iowa; and to spread the word about the Project, the website, and the ongoing call for content.

In every Dispensation, the light of Divine Guidance has been focused upon one central theme.… In this wondrous Revelation… the foundation of the Faith of God, and the distinguishing feature of His Law, is the consciousness of the oneness of mankind. — ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, cited in The Promised Day is Come
