Dear Friends,

I appreciate your patience as I try to keep up with the wealth of material made available to me from the Des Moines Bahá’í Archives. I’ll be working through that for months, I’m sure. Not enough hours in the days and weeks, not enough energy for the opportunities! What I’m not seeing much of, though, is new stories and submissions “from the field.” I know there are so many stories out there to be told, so much priceless information for present inspiration and future study! I’ve reached out to some of you with specific requests and we welcome all of your fond memories, accounts of difficult or challenging times, “How I Became a Bahá’í” stories–anything you wish to share. This project is richer and more valuable with every new voice that contributes! Please take a little time to think about what you might offer. Perhaps a stroll through the website would spark ideas and memories. And please do register as a user on the site and leave comments on the content you find there.

We are still in search of someone with website experience to gradually learn the workings of this site from our current webmaster, Mike Moum, and eventually take over the role–preferably someone a bit younger, to take us into the future.

Thanks to you all. This continues to be a precious learning experience and inspiration for me and for the team.

Diane

In every Dispensation, the light of Divine Guidance has been focused upon one central theme.… In this wondrous Revelation… the foundation of the Faith of God, and the distinguishing feature of His Law, is the consciousness of the oneness of mankind. — ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, cited in The Promised Day is Come
