Interview: Don Sires by Linda Coulter-Jones, April 2024
Linda Coulter-Jones interviewed Don Sires on April 3, 2024, via zoom. Don recounts his experiences as a Baha’i growing up in Iowa and then beyond, along with stories of his father, Chappie Sires, a colorful character who became a Baha’i in Davenport in the 1950s and actively taught the Faith there and in Waterloo, and of his cousin, Tom Walton, who was active in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo Baha’i community for many years. Don and his wife Donna now live in Newberg, Oregon.
