Early Iowa City Bahá’í Center, 1969 – 1970

David Springer sent these photos, showing the address stamp for an Iowa City Bahá’í Center that existed briefly around 1969-1970. The stamp is inside his prayer book, published in the British Isles. Terry Riggins confirmed that the house he and a Bahá’í roommate (Steve Haman?) lived in during that time, on a busy city street, was designated as a Bahá’í Center and had a large sign outside. He commented that residents probably thought there were many more Bahá’ís in town than there really were!
