Early Iowa City Baha’i Center, 1969 – 1970

David Springer sent these photos, showing the address stamp for an Iowa City Baha’i Center that existed briefly around 1969-1970. The stamp is inside his prayer book, published in the British Isles. Terry Riggins confirmed that the house he and a Baha’i roommate (Steve Haman?) lived in during that time, on a busy city street, was designated as a Baha’i Center and had a large sign outside. He commented that residents probably thought there were many more Baha’is in town than there really were!
