Dramatic Reading Gives History an Artistic Flair in Cedar Rapids

Bringing the history of two early teachers of the Faith to life, Roger Rasmussen and Doris Dejwakh performed a dramatic reading about Howard Colby Ives, author of “Portals to Freedom,” and his wife Mabel Rice-Wray Ives.The dramatic reading was written by Doris Dejwakh, who is currently composing the biography of the two believers. The reading occurred during the Feast of Nur on Friday, July 5. Roger and Doris acted out the roles of Howard and Mabel in a detailed narrative about their lives of service to the Cause.
